Watertightness

Tested building products:

The main products or building systems tested for water tightness are:

- Curtain walling, windows & doors
- Sealing systems
- Modes of caulking
- Sealing profiles for tightness of the glazing and between frame and leaf of the joinery
-...

Test procedure:

*simulation of rain:

The test body is subject to controlled, artificial rain-flow and static air pressure (it can be combined with a turbulent air stream). The test aims to determine the threshold of maximum pressure to which the sample is sealed and the nature and location of leaks.
Measurements can be performed on finished products in the factory facilities of the Client or on site after the products are already installed.

*sinking under water:

The test body is submerged (water height max_20 m). The test is achieved by measuring the leakage rate under stabilized pressure.

Test facilities:

Ourtest facilities allow us to provide a controlled flowof water up to 30 m3/h. Conical jet nozzles spread a continuous film of water on the test body oriented horizontally, vertically or inclined by considering the requested simulation.
